At Asiabike, we manufacture all types of bicycles including high-quality mountain bikes, racing city/road bikes, kids’ bikes, trekking/terrain bikes, and e-bikes.
Asiabike is extremely proud to announce that we have achieved ISO 9001:2015 certification. Assessment for certification was done by SGS and accredited by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS).
The assembled bicycles are then packed to different levels based on the customer requirement. The bicycle is gently placed on a carton box along with other components such as saddles, pedals, and the brand manual. Thereafter, a care label is attached to the exterior and then the carton box is stapled, safety banded, and palletized. The bicycles are now ready to be shipped.
The frames and wheels are sent through a conveyor from the decal and wheel sections to the assembly lines. All other components required to assemble the bicycle such as chain wheels, gears, brakes, handlebars are sourced directly from the warehouse. All components are checked for their functionality at each stage of assembly. The bicycles are assembled and ready for packing.
Firstly, the hubs are laced by hand and the completed spokes are built onto the rims. Then the spokes are tightened through automated machines. Subsequently, the rims are trued in automatic machines to remove any buckles wherein the rims are also finished by hand to a limit of 2mm as per industry standards. The tube and tyre are fixed to the rim and air-filled. With the addition of freewheels and other components, the wheels are ready for the assembly process.
The sticker process gives a custom finish to the bicycle. We have mastered the technique of transferring a print image onto the frame, forks, and other components. Sticker process has frame transfers in PVC-based Decal and Water Decal. PVC decals are applied directly onto painted frames and has no further process. Water decals are a skilful application process, once applied, the frames are dried in the oven then a lacquer coat is applied and low baked. The frames are inspected and ready for the assembly process.
The painting process begins at the pre-treatment section where the frames and forks are cleaned to remove oil and dirt using non-hazardous chemicals. Subsequently, the components enter the automatic disc painting booths for a complete paint finish. Thereafter, the frames and forks enter the industrial oven for curing. The frames are inspected and ready for the next stage.
Firstly, galvanised alloy tubes are cut and mitred to precision. Subsequently, our experts at TIG welding meticulously finish the frame and the quality auditors check using a 1:1 scale drawing. Seat tubes are then rimmed, and BB shells are threaded. Thereafter, the frames enter the T4 & T6 machineries for heat treatment. The frames are then air-dried to reach the expected level of strength.
